The ice in her eyes by AbikK The ice in her eyes by AbikK
I'm sorry that I've uploaded two works in a row with huge planets and something between them but I've learnt how to make such planets not so long time ago and it let me to do space art based on ideas with planets like this.

Absolutely amazing; it embodies all my favorite aspects of science fiction - the magnitude of the scene, the intricacy of the individual parts, the impossibility or improbability of the scene to begin with (if not for some freak occurrence of science in nature), and the amazing focus point/centerpiece. Just... astounding. You have a new fan, good sir.

How do you do those close-up planets? It looks awesome!

It is really easy, I just took normal planet(for example, such as the one in the middle) and then just scale properly(one dimension must to be much more smaller than other one). Only one difficult thing here is that you need quite big planet.

I tried it with 5000x5000 planet, but I kept the circle shape, so that might be the problem why it looked bad, thanks for that!
Anyway, awesome work! ;)

5000x5000 is quite enough but it cannot be a circle, rather very flat eclipse.
And thanks, I'm glad you like it :D

This is incredible. I love how you use the space/planet style in creative ways rather than just making awesome scenes. I wish I had enough time to invest in things like this, because I know I've gotten exponentially better at doing these and might even be able to pull of something half as good as this =P, but have been so busy I just can't. Keep up the amazing work! :+fav:

Just be patient, if you don't have enough time now, just wait when you will be able to train and do something what will satisfy you :D
and thanks for appreciating my art :D

Well actually I already am, I'm in school for Game Design and loving it! So yes, the reason I don't have time for these is that I'm pursuing another passion of mine. Fair trade, I'd say. =)

I don't know, I have never tried to print them.
Or do you mean 'print' in terms of 'creating'?
